"Karna" composed their second studio album for a long time, for 5 years – from 2005 till 2009. However, the group intended to do something not only interesting-once-again, but also truly qualitative – well, and working with quality, it's not a secret, can continue infinitely, indeed. As a result, "Karna" did prepare a comprehensively qualitative, conceptual product – having no casual or superfluous details either in the external design, or in the music content. Have you noticed that the Sun consisting of the light of two Moons is depicted on the cover – the merry and the sad ones? And did you pay attention to that the third component of this Sun is – Shade?.. Thus, even trifles matter. And taking into account how diverse the music fabric of the album appears – it is very pleasant to emphasize its integrity. In fact, what was the definition of the group's style till recently? – Ukrainian alternative and new metal. But the album "Karna" offers to the audience a much richer cocktail. In which, apart from what's mentioned above, it is possible to discover folklore echoes, and gothic notes, and even elements of synth-pop. And that is not yet all – but, we believe, even this will be quite sufficient to get surprised. Unity and struggle of opposites – in their entire beauty. Moreover, there are lyrics as well... We recommend to listen to them attentively, and better – to attentively read them. Without regard to the visible hardness, stiffness – they offer a lot of lyricism, quest, questions that might have no definite answers. Such texts induce reflections – this is the key thing.
