It is quite natural that this disc starts exactly with "Zaporizkyi March". Cossacks – Sich – war. The associative line is pretty simple. However that may be, Cossacks are not only warriors. And though women were not admitted to the Sich, we are all alive people. Where would the Cossacks have appeared from, if it had not been for women? Moreover, would they have defended this land for no particular reason, only for the sake of the land itself, if women and children had not lived on this land? So, it is quite natural that not only war songs are presented at this disc, but also lyrical and comic, meditative and philosophic ones, as well as dancing melodies. After all, we are all alive people. A war, though righteous and fair it might be, does not present the whole life, even if you make it the sense of your life. A war for the sake of a war, art for the sake of art, science for the sake of science – sorry, where should people go? May be, that is the very reason why this recording, in addition to history and patriotism, possesses the main thing – humaneness. So, what sense has the future, if it does not possess humaneness?

Мені сподобалися "Запорозький марш" у виконанні оркестра народних інструментів. Треба розвивати гордість за Нашу країну. Не за владу, бо вона була і буде проти народу, а за нашу козацьку вольницю, ЗА УКРАЇНУ!!! ВПЕРЕД, КОЗАКИ!!! НУ МО БРАТТЯ ДО БОЮ!!!

Мені найбільше сподобалися "Запорозький марш" у виконанні оркестра народних інструментів, "Наливаймо, браття", "Їхав козак містом" у виконанні Анатолія Солов`яненка. Хотілося б поменше попси і побільше патріотичних пісень. Не разбавляйте славну козацьку співчу спадщину сучасними пісеньками. Побільше фольклору у виконанні заслужених музик і оркестрів, а не попси.

У всех песен здесь интересные тексты, а мелодии так и просятся, чтобы их пели. Необычно и романтически представлена "Там, где Ятрань...". Очень красиво звучит "Запорожский марш" в среднем темпе и в исполнении оркестра народных инструментов - как будто вам торжественную встречу устроили при въезде в город. "Козакуйте, козаки!" Что буквально понимать под этим сегодня?? Что запели бы те преславные запорожцы, когда бы пришлось им по два раза в день ездить в киевском метро в час пик (желательно с большими сумками и чемоданами)??

Eine super CD! Lieder, welche die Gefuehle der ukrainischen Kosaken exakt wiedergeben. Man muss nicht einmal den Text verstehen, alleine die Melodien lassen in die Gemueter und Gefuehlswelt der Kosaken Einblick gewaehren wobei die Texte den Gesamteindruck abrunden.

Дякуючи чудовій можливості прослухати фрагменти пісень на сайті, після придбання диску не було ніяких сюрпризів. Це було саме те, що я хотіла: українські козацькі марші у виконанні професійних музик. Усім, хто захоплюється українським фолькльором - рекомендую!!! Диск насправді відображає дух українського народу, сповнений гордістю за свою націю.
