This group has been entraining and surprising us with its freaks and boons in the style of folk-rock not for the first year. But here not only folk-rock is involved. For example, two first songs present a kind of a gloomy cheerfulness like the songs of Jim Morrison. Still the moment you dispose yourself to this mood, “Haydamaky” break the space with vividly tense punk and in a moment they already repair this space with a pellucid ballad. And now, when you don’t know what to expect in a minute, the most interesting thing starts. Not because it was not interesting from the very beginning, but because now you have no hitches and no orientations – you are open for listening, you take musical flow directly. Without associative rows imposed by reminiscences. Since “Haydamaky” in general, and this album of theirs in particular, are characterised by a turbulent energy, you have nothing to do but to be filled with it from top to toe and to feel … by the way, what does a person feel through the body of whom fairly high voltage is transmitted?

I saw the band live in Munchen in October and I absolutely had to buy their albums after that. The live show was spectacular, but I think they manage to capture a great deal of the same energy on their albums as well. Highly recommended for anyone!

Не сумнівався, купуючи диск, що це музика, яку "Гайдамаки" грають для мене. Пісеньки - коротенькі але зміст, вкладений в них, малює в уяві цілі історії без початку і кінця... Хочеться продовження, а тому легко слухаються й не надоїдають. "Маланка" - чудо пісенька, Чоловікові 30 літ - заслухаєшся... Народні пісні в їх виконанні - просто запалюють...

This is a great follow up to Haydamaky's debut album. It's still got the power of the original, and the wonderful collision of folk and rock and ska. I still can't understand the words!
