The first studio album by the group "Rusichi" carries such a convincing charge of positive energy that it is simply impossible to hold out – one wants to listen again and again. And the thing is not only that the overwhelming majority of the songs have merry or frankly humorous mood. Because there are also lyric, pensive moments – but they do not contain any sorrow either, everything sounds very lightly. And this is the doubtless merit of the musicians. They succeed with their music to not only "wash", give wings to what used to be sad. They even added to initially frivolous things such nuances, own new intonations that the long- and well-known texts appear in some different, deeper light. By the way, speaking about the texts. Usually in such cases folk texts are subject to arrangement, updating. And here – no, the words remain actually unchanged, and for this reason it is interesting to listen to them anew. Moreover, few rock-musicians dare to record an album that would consist of exceptionally folk songs. "Rusichi" – did that, and greatly. It appears that on the one hand this is a real rock mixture, and on the other – pure folklore. Therefore in a certain sense the disc "A Birdie Twittered" can be considered, presumably, a standard of folk-rock. And this is only the beginning...
