Sergiy Zhadan, in fact, does not need any extra advertising – the explosive and sincere mixture of the marginal and philosophical in his work already long ago made Zhadan one of the most popular modern Ukrainian authors. Kharkiv group “Sobaky V Kosmosi” ("Dogs in Space") has also during a couple of recent years has gained momentum – for it easily and zealously combines in its sounding very different, by definition, styles. It seems that Zhadan, with whom the group fruitfully cooperates, is not the least responsible for that. This time several interesting invited musicians participated in creating the album – for example, one of the best young jazz pianists of Kharkiv, Efim Chupahin, or Galyna Breslavets from the folklore "Ojra". Consequently, we have in one pot epatage, sarcasm, philosophy, lyric poetry, ska, reggae, punk, folk singing and just drive – both in words and in music. And if you prefer not too trimmed art – this is the album that should not miss your attention. Ambiguous – and thus interesting.
