Evidently, we almost did not hope for that already – we had to wait for too long. But finally it has happened – "VV" are reediting their previous work. The album "Abo Abo" is a concert record made in France at the "Eurockeens de Belfort" festival as long ago as in June, 1991. But not only. This is also the first compact disc of the group – previous records were published on cassettes. In addition, it was released abroad – a rare bird for those times, we should say. Thus, the disc "Abo Abo", which you see now in front of you, is released in Ukraine for the first time. 15 years have passed, a lot of things have broken down and grown up, changed during these years. However, something has remained – performances by "VV" now, as well as then, are full of such energy that you can hardly imagine an indifferent listener. But, on the other hand, now this is energy of mature, acknowledged people. And on this record – energy of seekers of adventures, discoverers, young inflammatory pirates. No offenses meant – because these pirates do not rob the ocean of music, but enrich it with their own fire... You should only listen how the audience reacts at this concert, not understanding a word, but feeling that one hundred percent – here is the sign of authenticity. And, no doubt, "VV" is genuinely characterized by this sign.
