The disc "There Was No End" appeared to the light of the day after realization in spring, 2007 of the first Ukrainian tour of experimental electronic music "Ukraine:Sweden 4:4". If in the domain of creativity that Sara Lunden and Andriy Kiritchenko are engaged in such notion as "pop" were really appropriate – this disc would probably become its excellent illustration. Just an ideal balance between affability to the listener and self-absorbed contemplation. Conditionally, a sort of semi-acoustic, minimalist trip-hop. But far not any trip-hop would afford so much fresh, transparent air in sounding as here. The disc has appeared so light, open for perception that it can be without a doubt laid and recommended to everyone who is only starting exploring electro-acoustic experiments. As well as to those who has never been going to do that – and to those who have never even heard about such things. "There Was No End", however strange, can be close both to fans of intellectual dance music – and to admirers of Northern variations of European jazz – and to those able to imagine the surprised taste of quality indie-pop.
